AI rap video: consent, copyright and privacy
Updated 2026-10-25
Whose photo can I use?
Your own, or an adult who agreed to be in the video. Do not upload photos of public figures, of minors, or of anyone who has not said yes. The same rule appears under the generate button and in the Terms.
Does the video use a real rapper's music or voice?
No. This is an independent tool and is not affiliated with any rapper, label or platform. Artist and trend names appear only to explain what a trend is.
What happens to my photo?
Photos are stored privately and are not publicly accessible. Uploaded photos are deleted after 30 days and generated clips after 90 days. Download your clip before then. See the Privacy page for the full text.
Can I post the video?
It is your clip to share, as long as the person in it agreed. Say that it is AI-generated when you post it; several platforms ask for that label. Do not present an AI video of a real person as something they actually did.
Why this matters in rap culture
Rap communities care about who the original is and about not faking someone else. When the Hotel Lobby AI trend spread in September 2026, the original performers' side pointed people to the real performance, and some fans objected to using a late artist's likeness. Our rule follows from that: your own photo, clearly labeled, no borrowed identities.
